Project Jacquard™ makes it possible to weave touch and gesture interactivity into any textile using standard, industrial looms.
Everyday objects such as clothes and furniture can be transformed into interactive surfaces. We partnered with Google ATAP, who developed the interactive fabric, to name, shape, and position Jacquard™.
My task for Project Jacquard was to create a logo that would entail the technical innovations made by the Google team. We went through an extensive exploration of hundreds of different designs from paper to screen.
